Community Rules

Wahala World is a social game full of real people. These are the rules and terms for playing it. Creating an account means you agree to them.

Who can play

Wahala World is for players aged 16 and over. Romance features (dating, rings, weddings and babies) need a one-time check that you are at least 18, and the Secret Palace asks you to confirm you are 18+ before you go in. Don’t lie about your age. One person, one account: don’t share it or sell it.

Zero tolerance

We don’t tolerate objectionable content or abusive players. Anywhere in the game (public chat, private messages, voice, names, profiles, posts, guestbooks, photos, ads and radio uploads) you must not:

• harass, bully, stalk or threaten anyone, or encourage violence or self-harm;
• post hate against people for their race, ethnicity, tribe, nationality, religion, gender, sexuality or disability;
• post or ask for sexual content involving anyone under 18, ever. We report it to the authorities;
• post sexual or graphic content in public spaces;
• scam, phish, or ask other players for passwords, codes, bank details or real money;
• spam, advertise without paying for an ad, or flood chats;
• pretend to be another player, a celebrity, a brand or Wahala World staff;
• share someone else’s private information, photos or address.

Report, block and mute

Tap a player or a message to report it, block the player, or mute them. Blocked players can’t message you. Our staff review reports and aim to act within 24 hours. Depending on what happened we remove the content, mute the player, suspend the account, or ban it for good. Serious cases go to the police or the right authorities. You can also email us with the player’s @username and what happened.

Fair play

No cheating, bots, hacks, exploiting bugs, or making extra accounts to farm rewards. If you find a bug, tell us. We may take back Naira, items or rewards gained unfairly.

Your uploads

Photos, billboard ads, radio uploads, names and anything else you add must be your own work, or you must have permission to use it, including music. Ads and radio uploads are reviewed by staff before they go live, and we can remove anything that breaks these rules at any time. You keep ownership of what you upload; you let us show it in the game while it’s up.

Play money

Wahala Coins, Wahala Naira, items, homes, cars and land are virtual game content. They have no cash value, can’t be withdrawn or exchanged for real money, and can’t be sold or transferred outside the game. You can send Naira to other players only inside the game, where the game allows it. There is no gambling or betting. We may fix balances that are wrong because of a bug or fraud.

Purchases and refunds

In the iPhone and Android apps, coin packs are bought through the App Store or Google Play, and refunds follow Apple’s or Google’s refund rules: ask them through your purchase history. For web purchases, email us with your order reference. Prices are shown before you pay.

Kemi, the AI guide

Kemi answers questions using a third-party AI service, only after you allow it in her chat. Her answers can be wrong; the game itself is the final word. Don’t send her passwords or bank details.

Your account and privacy

You can delete your account any time: see account deletion. How we handle your information is in our privacy policy. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

The boring but important bits

Wahala World is a game in active development. Features change, and sometimes things break; we do our best but can’t promise the game will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Betacarry LLC isn’t responsible for what other players say or do. We may update these rules; if the change is big we’ll tell you in the game, and the date below shows the latest version.
